The car that broke the rules. In 1991, the Mazda 787B #55 — driven by Weidler, Herbert, and Gachot — became the first and only Japanese car to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans overall, and the only rotary-powered car to ever do it. The R26B four-rotor was banned the following year. The Renown "Charge" orange-and-green livery is one of the most iconic in motorsport history.
