The use of JDM KONBINI (“JK”) products, including those sourced from third-party manufacturers and suppliers, is governed by the policies, terms, and conditions set out below. These policies, terms, and conditions are necessary due to the following considerations:

When engaging in racing, a motor vehicle is subjected to the sudden and continuous operation at the upper limits of its physical and operational capacity, and to the endurance limits of every component. Racing involves pushing the vehicle to the highest possible speeds, requiring precise control and coordination in an unpredictable environment, often in close proximity to other vehicles also being pushed to their limits. This creates an extraordinarily unpredictable environment with enormous risks, including catastrophic injury and death. Although component failure is never intended, it is inevitable when racing, as the operational and functional limits of the vehicle will often be exceeded, thereby testing the upper physical limits of every component. Therefore, component failure, including failure of any parts purchased, whether from JK or third-party manufacturers, will occur and may occur on the very first use of the vehicle following the installation of the part(s).

Accordingly, given the nature of racing and the strong probable risk of part(s) failure at any time, there is no express or implied warranty of fitness from JK in your purchase. All sales of all products are “as is” and all sales are final.

All JK products, including those sourced from third-party manufacturers, are intended for race application only and on vehicles exclusively used in a certified licensed racing facility. All parts provided by JK, including those from third-party manufacturers, must be installed by a licensed mechanic.

Under no circumstances should your vehicle, after the installation of the part(s) purchased from JK, be used on public roads or streets.

You acknowledge that racing inherently involves exposing yourself and others to the risk of harm, including catastrophic injury and death. You are entirely liable for any harm caused as a result of the operation of your motor vehicle, regardless of whether such harm is due to the failure of any part provided by JK.

You acknowledge that even in racing-approved facilities, there are risks of collision and injury, including but not limited to going off track, improper installation of any part, collisions with other vehicles (race vehicles, emergency vehicles, tow trucks), collisions with track equipment, barriers, walls, or other obstacles. These risks can also be caused or exacerbated by weather conditions, temperature, driver error (your own or others'), engine failure, transmission failures, steering and suspension failure, tire failure, or any other mechanical failure in your vehicle or other vehicles racing at the same time. After every race and collision incident, whether minor or severe, all parts must be inspected for damage and fatigue and repaired or replaced immediately by a licensed mechanic.

You acknowledge that you bear the entire risk of harm to yourself and others resulting from any racing activity, notwithstanding the failure of any part provided by JK.

In addition, JK will not be liable for the misuse of information provided on www.jdmkonbini.com, including technical support, customer service, or any other service provided online or over the telephone. In every case involving the use of any part(s) provided through JK, you understand and accept that there are no express or implied warranties whatsoever with respect to any product(s) provided by JK. You acknowledge that if a warranty is provided by any part supplied by a third-party manufacturer and sold by JK, you must pursue any warranty claims directly against the third-party manufacturer. In no event shall JK be required to honor any such warranty or assist you in pursuing remedies with respect to any warranty provided by a third-party manufacturer of parts acquired through JK.

You acknowledge that modifying your vehicle for racing purposes involves significant safety and legal risks. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any modifications comply with local laws and regulations. JK is not liable for any fines, legal actions, or penalties incurred as a result of modifications to your vehicle that do not comply with local laws. You accept full responsibility for any legal consequences that may arise from the modification of your vehicle.

All of these terms and conditions form an integral part of your contract of purchase of any product from JK and shall not expire regardless of the passage of time.
