RETURNS & REFUNDS

General Policy

All returns must be pre-approved. Contact us at returns@jdmkonbini.com before sending anything back. Items shipped without authorization will be refused.

Not all products have a 25-day return policy. Eligibility is reviewed on a product-by-product and case-by-case basis. Some items may not be returnable at all due to manufacturer or distributor restrictions.

Proof of purchase is required. Every request must include a valid receipt or order confirmation.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for return approval:

  • The product must be brand new, unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and in resellable condition.
  • All original packaging, documentation, and included components must be intact (no torn boxes, missing hardware, or cut wiring).
  • Products showing any signs of installation, wear, modification, or damage are not eligible.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Special-order or custom-order parts (built-to-order, imported-to-order, or specifically requested items).
  • Clearance, closeout, or sale items.
  • Electrical and electronic components (ECUs, sensors, wiring harnesses, etc.) once opened, unless defective and covered by manufacturer warranty.
  • Any part installed, test-fitted, modified, or missing packaging.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

  • Orders must be inspected immediately upon delivery.
  • Any damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos.
  • Claims made after this period may be denied.

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges. To receive the correct item quickly, return the eligible product (if approved) and place a new order.

Return Shipping

  • If approved, you’ll receive a Return Authorization (RA) and instructions.
  • Unauthorized returns or items sent without an RA will be refused.
  • Unless the return is due to our error, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Refunds & Store Credit

  • After inspection, we will notify you if your return is approved.
  • Approved returns are generally refunded to the original payment method.
  • In some cases, store credit may be offered instead of a refund, but this will only be applied if confirmed with you in advance.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Restocking fees may apply on a brand-by-brand basis, depending on vendor or manufacturer policies.
  • Refunds typically process within 10 business days after approval. Store credit, if agreed upon, will be issued faster.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your return approval and you haven’t received your refund or store credit, contact us at returns@jdmkonbini.com.

European Union Customers

For orders shipped into the EU, you are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period, where you may cancel or return your order for any reason. Products must meet the same new, unused condition requirements above.
